The Blessing of a Lighthouse

In life, there are so many tempatations and trials that we all go through. At times, we may feel overwhelmed with what unpleasant suprises life dishes out to us. It can be a comfort to know that "God did not send us here to fail." He has provided us with many lighthouses along the way of life here on earth to help us stay on the path and keep our goal in sight.

In Relief Society today, the dear sister that gave the lesson showed us a picture of a lighthouse with Christs hands surrounding it; protecting it. I was touched by the painting so much that I searched for it on the web. The painting was done by the wonderful artist Danny Hahlbohm, and it is titled I am the Light.
